WHERE WERE YOU BORN?
I was born in West Chester, PA, and lived there for most of my childhood, excluding a small stint in Europe!
HOW DID YOU ENCOUNTER YOGA?
I had a Phys Ed teacher in high school who refused to accept my resistance to participating in gym class. One day, she brought in a yoga VHS tape for me to do during gym class and I was instantly hooked!
ANY ADVICE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NEW TO YOGA?
Don’t be intimidated. And yes, you do, too, have a “yoga body”.
CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOGA IN 3 WORDS?
Bend, don’t break.
WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT PRACTICING IN A CIRCLE?
I like practicing in a circle because the class feels more like a conversation than a lecture.

Breaking out of my comfort zone and exploring partner poses!
WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE CURRENTLY LEARNING MORE ABOUT YOGA?
I’m working on being “yoga” outside of class.
WHAT OTHER ACTIVITIES DO YOU ENJOY?
I love running, hiking and climbing trees, as well as purchasing too many books and eating queso-filled burritos.
IF YOU WERE TO WIN THE LOTTERY, HOW WOULD YOU SPEND YOUR TIME?
Traveling the world, and owning a library with a ladder (see: Beauty and the Beast).
