HOW DID YOU ENCOUNTER TANGO? 
I started learning ballroom dancing in high school, and at one of our monthly dances we had an Argentine tango demo. I was hooked!

ANY ADVICE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NEW TO TANGO?
Train and dance in as many communities as possible! You never know what teacher and community will resonate with you!

CAN YOU DESCRIBE TANGO IN 3 WORDS? 
Freedom through control

WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT EXCHANGING ROLES? 
Having more avenues to explore creativity within the dance.

Being a part of such a close community!

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE CURRENTLY LEARNING MORE ABOUT OR WORKING ON AS A TANGO DANCER?
My posture – always! Leading extension and compression

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TANGO SONG/ORCHESTRA?
One of my all-time favorite songs is Fuga y Misterio as played by The 12 Cellists of the BPO!

WHAT OTHER ACTIVITIES (BESIDES TANGO) DO YOU ENJOY?
As many different dances as I can learn, environmental conservation work, Krav Maga, theatre tech, and traveling as far and as often as possible!

IF YOU WERE TO WIN THE LOTTERY, HOW WOULD YOU SPEND YOUR TIME?
I’d pay off my student loans and then take off to travel the world!
